Handling Challenges

Homeschooling takes problem solving! I offer support to families who are looking for an outside perspective on a challenge or situation they've encountered in the course of homeschooling.

These are some of the situations in which this kind of consultation can be helpful:

• My child hated math in school, and still hates it.

• My child is shy and doesn’t want to spend time with other children.

• Basic math was fine, but I think my child is ready for algebra and I don't think I can teach it!

• We used to have lots of conflict over homework; now it's worse because everything’s homework!
